CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Adult Education:

TEC200:

Every second Sunday at 6 p.m., Christ Church will hold an adult education class entitled TEC200. This monthly offering takes place in the context of Holy Eucharist and will delve into current issues affecting the Church. All sessions will meet in the Parish Hall.


Soup & Scripture:

Tuesdays throughout Lent, St. Paul's hosts Soup & Scripture in the Undercroft. The evening begins with a soup supper at 5:30. The Scripture portion of the program begins at 6 p.m. We will be examining the book of Jonah. You are welcome to join us for good food and good conversation.


Youth Group:

The RVEC Youth Group, an ecumenical effort between the Methodists and Episcopalians in the Ruby Valley, meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the vicarage in Sheridan beginning at 6:30 p.m.


BUILDING PROJECTS:

There are no current building projects underway.

Christ Church has completed the roofing and paint projects. The current To Do list includes creating a walkway from the sidewalk to the ramp; repairing and protecting the stained glass windows; new carpeting; and continued repairs to the vicarage.

St. Paul's has completed the face lift of the interior of the church with new paint, refinished floors and new carpet. The current To Do list includes a new roof, refinishing the floors in the sacristy, painting the sacristy and narthex, and new carpet and repairs to the walls in the undercroft.
